Did anyone else notice how cheeky Oprah was being with Valerie Bertinelli today?! As far as I could tell, Lady O flagged all the parts of Valerie's book that had to do with sex, and then wanted more details on them (Steven Spielberg especially). There was even a whacked out moment where O made a "sex" hand gesture over and over. It was totally kooky! Hooray! You know I love it when Oprah gets loopy!Also, I thought Valerie came off as really likable and sincere. Especially when she said her hair was fake. I always wonder about hair!
PS-The New Earth? Yes, I bought it. I'm sort of reading it, but I'm semi-tired of all the airtime that's being devoted to it. I want my full Oprah hour, which is already interrupted by too many commercial breaks! Let's keep to the topic of the day--it's not The Eckhart Tolle Show!

I thought Valerie was great. I like her even more now and love the hair!
Yes, I got New Earth too. I keep picking it up and putting it down. It is not an easy read. I'm often like, what? But you know I can't have the rest of the world know what Oprah is talking about and I don't. And yes, I'm tired of all the coverage too.

i am gonna do it, yeah! i mean, i need to really read the book this weekend, but it is SLOW going, as you say.
